Pfaff Service

This is an example of how we will service  your sewing machine.  This is refered to as a  "level 4" service.  This type of care and precision is taken with every brand of machine that is brought in for service.

This model is a PFAFF 1171   which is in EXCELLENT condition and has been completely inspected, rebuilt and tested. What you are looking at in these pictures is an example of the care and precision with which we prepare our Pfaff machines for our service customers and for resale.

The technician that rebuilt this machine has over 30 years experience working on Pfaff sewing machines.  He is regarded as  a master of his trade.

This machine was sold new from our store in 1986 and was serviced by our store until 2004 when it was traded in for a new Pfaff.

We begin by a bench check evaluation, visual inspection, and check for missing or damaged parts. We power up to check the machine for proper functions, noting what is required to bring the machine to as "close as reasonable to new" condition throughout. If the machine passes this stage, it will continue through the rebuilding process. If it does not pass this stage, it is put to "salvage only status".

This machine passed and therefore the rebuilding process was continued. As you can see from the photos, the machine is  disassembled and thoroughly cleaned. Parts are carefully inspected visually with a 3 dipoter lens. At this point the casting is ready for rough assembly.

Once the machine is re-assembled, it is tested and checked for speed and smoothness, as well as sound level. Run time varies depending on the model. The last steps of the process are the critical final adjustments.

Machine is sew tested, all functions are checked and fine tuning is the final step after the machine is completely assembled.

WE ARE COMMITTED TO PROVIDING THE BEST FINISHED PRODUCT WE CAN FOR THE MOST REASONABLE COST.
