Machine/New Owner's Classes

New Owner's classes are offered in modules.

Module 1: Basic Machine Functions
Module 2: Basic Sewing Functions
Module 3: Basic Embroidery Functions
Module 4: Basic PC Functions

You must take Module 1 before taking any other modules. These classes are only offered to customers who purchased machines from Brubaker's Sewing Center. Module 1 is a FREE class. Other modules require a nominal fee.

Module 1: Basic Machine Functions- (Free class if you purchased your machine from Brubakers)

This class will discuss needles, threads, machine maintenance, threading and winding bobbins, basic functions of the sewing machine.

Module 2: Basic Sewing Functions

Class fee: $50

This module will explore  basic stitches and applications, selecting stitches, editing, using various presser feet and applying various sewing techniques by machine.

Thursday, September 9, 6 pm to 8 pm

Saturday, October 16, 10 am to 12 pm

Thursday, November 18, 10 am to 12 pm

Module 3:  Basic Embroidery -this class is free if you purchased your embroidery machine from Brubakers. We will explore stabilizers, hooping, editing, combining embroidery designs, alignment, monogramming and more.

Thursday, August 26, 1 pm to 3 pm  this class is free to Brubaker's Customers. (If you wish to repeat this class, the fee is $50)

 

NEW!

Janome Horizon 7700 New Owner's Class

This class will focus specifically on the features of the NEW Janome Horizon 7700

You will create a cute pillow top or mini wall hanging sample while exploring the new features and learning the "ins and outs" of your new Janome Horizon.

This class is FREE OF CHARGE if your purchased your Horizon from Brubakers Sewing Center.  Please call or email us to register as we will only accept 6 people per class in order to offer our customers the best learning experience!

July 1 at 2 pm to 4:30 pm  (Thursday)

August 12, 5:30 pm to 8 pm  (Thursday)

September 9, 2 pm to 4:30 pm (Thursday)

September 18, 10 am to 12:30 pm  (Saturday)

At this time we are only offering this class to customers who purchased their machines from us.  This policy will continue until we have had the opportunity to work with and train all our new Janome 7700 customers.
